From October 20 to 22, I attended I‑RIM 3D 2023, the 5th Italian Conference on Robotics and Intelligent Machines, held at the Fiera di Roma, alongside Maker Faire Rome – The European Edition.
The event featured three main parallel tracks:
- Scientific research, with the core I‑RIM Conference;
- Technology, through the I‑RIM EXPO showcasing prototypes and demonstrators;
- Innovation, via RoboPitch—a platform for startups and researcher teams to present ideas to investors and industry.
I‑RIM 3D 2023 offered interactive posters, workshops, plenary talks, and the DRIM Poster Session dedicated to doctoral students.
Attending this conference was a valuable opportunity to immerse myself in the Italian robotics and intelligent machines community, explore cutting-edge research and discover makers’ projects and ideas.
