In April 2024 I took part in the 15th International Conference on Robotics in Education (RIE), held in the city of Koblenz. This was a particularly meaningful milestone, as it was my first international conference as a speaker. Presenting my research in this setting allowed me not only to share my work with a community of international scholars and practitioners, but also to receive valuable feedback that will help shape the next steps of my project.
Beyond my own contribution, the conference provided a vibrant platform for exchanging ideas with experts from all over the world. Discussions ranged from innovative classroom applications to broader reflections on how robotics can foster problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking. I found it especially inspiring to see how diverse educational contexts are experimenting with robotics to transform teaching and learning practices.
Participating as a speaker gave me a new perspective on my role within the academic community and reinforced my conviction that robotics in education has the potential to reshape pedagogy, empowering learners to actively engage with technology and develop the skills needed to thrive in the 21st century.
I am confident that this field will continue to revolutionize teaching and learning methodologies, empowering learners to thrive in the 21st century.
