On February 4th, together with Prof. Emanuele Menegatti, I took part in the inaugural event of “STEAM in Tour”, organised by Istituto Comprensivo Sottomarina Nord as part of the National STEM Week, with the support of the Municipality of Chioggia.
As the opening event of the Week, we shared with students the research and teaching activities of the IAS-Lab robotics laboratory, presenting concrete examples of robotic applications and reflecting on the importance of STEM orientation, with a particular focus on encouraging girls to see themselves as part of this world.
At the end of the event, students handed us notes and thank-you messages for the Department. A small gesture that said a lot about their curiosity and enthusiasm.
