Robots are becoming increasingly present in our daily lives: from toy robots to robot vacuum cleaners, robot lawnmowers, and soon even self-driving cars.
Guided by Prof. Menegatti — with my support — students learned what a robot is, how to program it, and how its sensors work. They also built a robot car that was able to drive autonomously, following a black line traced on the floor.
At the same time, teachers had the opportunity to see how robotics could be used in schools to enhance the learning of curricular subjects, making knowledge more concrete, interactive, and engaging.
